The alias MC GOOS was created in Brazil.

Relocating to Brazil in 2011, Bjoern continued his passion for Event Management. Settling down in Fortaleza (Brazil), he started to organize a weekly event, called XPOSE, in a well-known nightclub in in the city, to which he regularly flew in DJs from the Netherlands to perform at Bjoern's events. 

At the first edition of XPOSE, Dutch "DJ Tony Cha Cha" was performing. Bjoern as the party host grabbed the microphone, jumped on the stage to give the party a “warm welcome” as well as to introduce the DJs to the crowd. Tony, who enjoyed this great reception in Brazil, used to call his close friends "GOOS", which is a slang expression for friend / brother in Dutch. Inspired by Bjoern's ability to host events and animate a crowd, and due to their close relationship, Tony started to call Bjoern "MC GOOS” and the nickname has stuck around ever since. 

From that night onwards, MC GOOS started his weekly performances at XPOSE, where he became a local star, who suddenly started to spread his fame across Brazil, performing with international and domestic DJs live on stage or in videos.

Moving from Fortaleza to Sao Paulo, where Bjoern became part of the first edition of TOMORROWLAND BRAZIL. This helped him connect with the superstars of the industry and MC GOOS started to perform alongside DJs from Sao Paulo, hosting big festivals such as the festivals "HOLI ONE" in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, both festivals were attended by over 45,000 people. On top of that, MC GOOS performed in the most famous clubs in Brazil. 

After moving back to the Netherlands at the end of 2015, the career of MC GOOS continued and branched out to festivals in Panama and several shows, tours, and festivals across Europe such as the Netherlands, Croatia, and Slovenia.

In 2016, MC GOOS got engaged for tours and shows in China and also Hong Kong, to which Bjoern moved in 2017 to explore his career further.
